Alberta Business Expanding
As we watch businesses in Ontario start to close up shop, due to the struggling economy there, it’s heartening to see some of the opposite happening here…in Alberta and in Edmonton! “Triple Flip” is a fashion retailer that focuses on the 6 to 16 year old. So, while you likely won’t wear this stuff, there’s a good chance your daughter or even Granddaughter would. It’s a Made-In-Alberta business, and it has just launched its first store here in Edmonton, just down there in South Common. The company is based in Calgary, and it manufactures its stock 100% in North America. Pretty interesting. Now, while they don’t need my free advertisement, they DO deserve a big congratulations! In a time when all things financial are SO uncertain, and with the Eastern-focused media so busy telling us that it will get worse before it gets better…it’s great to hear stories like this one, of an Alberta entrepreneur who is expanding. That is thanks in part to;
- Their entrepenurial spirit. Where would Alberta be without it.
- The Alberta economy. How much expansion do you think is going on in Ontario right now? Yet here, where we’ve been fortunate to be insulated from the worst of the economic freeze, people like Triple Flip President Linda Maslechko can live out their dream.
